AFTERMARKET (NON-OEM) AND USED PARTS DISCLOSURE

Aftermarket parts are those which are NOT produced OR authorized by your vehicle's manufacturer.

Used parts are original equipment or aftermarket parts that have been used on another vehicle.

1. By customer request or insurance company estimate, we will order, paint and install aftermarket and/or used body parts from their designated suppliers.

2. Installation shall be performed in a manner considered usual and customary for installing NEW OEM (original equipment manufacturer) replacement parts. No additional fitting, reparation or modification will be made without compensation.

3. We will notify you and your insurance company if the aftermarket and/or used parts from their designated supplier do not fit.

4. Upon your request or that of your insurance company, we will stop repairs for inspection of the used/aftermarket parts; however, there will be a charge assessed to the requesting party for the stall/tie-up time for the amount of the delay, as well as car rental or loan car use if applicable.

5. NORTHSIDE COLLISION INC will not warranty any aftermarket or used part in regard to fit, rust-out, paint or primer adhesion, or any safety related factors.

6. I hereby acknowledge that the vehicle manufacturer's warranty and the resale value may be affected by use of aftermarket and used parts.
